The Leadership Fellows Program (LFP) is a 13-month hybrid experience designed to prepare the next generation of senior and executive leaders in research libraries and archives. The fellows develop the knowledge, awareness, skills, and attitudes necessary for innovative and successful leadership of complex organizations by participating in a multifaceted curriculum, peer and individual mentoring, self-assessment, executive coaching, and site visits.
As an ARL fellowship, the LFP is implemented with the following considerations (unless noted otherwise):
- All virtual, synchronous content is scheduled between noon and 5:00 p.m. (ET); all in-person, synchronous content is scheduled based on the local time zone.
- All content is presented in English.
- All content is designed from and for Canadian and US perspectives.
- Attendance at in-person program components is expected.
The LFP is supported by the LFP Task Force and LFP Selection Working Group.
